Private TDEM VE Test Session

You must have an FRN (FCC Registration Number) before you can register to take an exam. If you don’t have an FRN, go to the FCC CORES website and register:

http://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do

If you are registering to test for an upgrade, you will already have an FRN, and you can enter either your current active callsign or your FRN to register for the test.

The FCC also requires an email address. All communication with the FCC is through email.

Exams are given on the ExamTools platform. SET VE Group uses in-person tablets or paper exams, scored with GradeCam.

The ARRL testing fee is $15.00, payable at your session before you take the exam. If the applicant is under 18, the fee is $5.00. Credit Cards or Cash accepted.

Please preregister before the test session.
