When INMARSAT-B and INMARSAT-C terminals are compared:
When INMARSAT-B and INMARSAT-C terminals are compared:
INMARSAT-C antennas are small and omni-directional, while INMARSAT-B antennas are larger and directional.
The inmarsat-C antennas are relatively small, passive stationary non-parabolic antennas, used for lower-speed data transfers.
The Inmarsat-B antennas use a stationary large dish antenna, with position calibrated to be in line-of-sight of a satellite. This service offers data/fax transmissions as well as voice communications.
