In order to apply for an amateur radio license, you must first have an FCC Registration Number (FRN). To apply for an FRN you must first register with the FCC. Go to the CORES website or copy and paste this URL into your bowser: https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/userLogin.do
Email me at n7twt@cox.net and I will send you the 605 form that can be filled out,printed, and bring it with you.
Since the Government is shut down, the FRN is not available right now. On your 605 form you need to use 10 zereos for your FRN. Once the shut down is over and you will need to get your FRN online and notify the ARRL so it can be added to your paperwork and it will be inputed to the FCC to get your new first Call sign and license.
