Keystone State Remote Exams (KRSE) (TEMPLATE)

The registration link is located at the bottom of this page. This exam takes place over Zoom and is not held at a physical location.
The exam fee is $15 for adults and $5 for minors. Payment is required for retests. Please visit our website to pay for your testing fee(s).
Make sure that you are prepared and passing practice exams at about 85% or more. You’ll find practice exams here on HamStudy.org. You only need to take a few to get an idea on how you are going to do on the real exam. You are welcome to attempt the next element, if you have prepared for it and passed the element before. No additional fee is required.
What you will need:
FRN from the FCC,
Legal photo ID (driver’s license or passport),
Quiet area free from distraction and ham radio study material or equipment,
Stable internet,
Computer, laptop, phone or tablet and a backup device,
Charge cords/power adapters for devices,
Single computer monitor, if used,
Zoom installed,
Camera (built-in or USB webcam) so we can see you on Zoom and do a room scan,
No headphones or ear buds
Optional:
Calculator (physical or use the one on the computer),
Clean sheet of paper and writing implement,
CSCE or proof of previous license, if applicable,
New ham radio operators will need to go to CORES to pay the $35 licensing fee within ten days of your application being submitted by the ARRL VEC. Upgrades are not subject to the licensing fee.
Minors are eligible for the full $35 to be reimbursed by the ARRL.
