In-Person License Exam Sessions (Deadline for registration is 6PM on June 12, 2025 MARC conducts in-person license exam sessions in Mitchell County, NC on the Designated Saturdays of each month, as a service to the local community. The location is is noted in the session advertisement, locator link below and registration documents. Test starts at[ 11:00AM.

We do not use paper tests and manual grading. Our in-person tests are conducted using tablet computers (Furnished)– we use the same Exam Tools system that is used for remote testing – which means instant grading and paperless testing. Please bring eyeglasses if you need them to read the screen of a tablet. Please register in advance for the in-person test session here: hamstudy.org .
