After Testing

Our Volunteer Examiner Team work through the Amateur Radio Relay League Volunteer Examiner Coordinator (ARRL VEC) to process and complete your application. Upon successfully passing an exam we forward your information to the ARRL VEC which processes your application and forwards it to the FCC so that you may receive your license or license upgrade.

If you do not already have an active amateur radio license the FCC requires a $35.00 fee for new licenses. You must pay the FCC’s fee within 10 days of them contacting you by email for you to receive your license.

For applicants aged 17 and younger the ARRL will reimburse this $35.00 fee. To request youth reimbursements through the ARRL fill out and submit the application linked below.
