FCC Amateur Radio License Exam

IN-PERSON TESTING ONLY; REMOTE TESTING NOT AVAILABLE

Pre-registration is preferred due to limited space.

Upon arrival, please advise Registrar if you have a transaction pending with the FCC.

In-person computer based and paper based testing is available. If you prefer computer based testing please bring your WIFI capable laptop, iPad, or tablet. At present, we don't have loaners.

U.S. PHOTO ID: ONE legal PHOTO ID, with current address, must be shown to the VE Team. Adults must show a military ID, state-issued driver’s license, non-driver state ID, or U.S. passport or passport card. Under-18 students may show one of the above items, or the student shows a school ID or birth certificate and a parent or legal guardian presents a photo ID.

If you have a physical disability and require accommodation, please email aarc-w3vpr-ve-preregistration@googlegroups.com regarding the required accommodation (i.e., require large print exam, require exam to be read to you, require assistance in marking the answer sheet).

NOTE: A COPPA Consent Form is not required for walk-in underage (younger than 13) applicants provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please email aarc-w3vpr-ve-preregistration@googlegroups.com with applicant name and preferred exam date.
