Preregistration is strongly encouraged, you will receive a 4 digit candidate number which will be needed for the exam. Applicants who do not have a license must have an FRN prior to registration, please ensure it is not a restricted FRN, these are identified as starting with "213". If you need to register for an FRN please go to https://apps.fcc.gov/cores/html/Register_New_FRN.htm
Please bring with you to the test session:
$15 Exam fee, cash only and please bring exact change.
State issued ID card or drivers license. If under 18 a Learner's Permit or school photo ID is acceptable.
If you have a CSCE or credit from a previous license, we must see the original copy.
Your FRN number
You may bring a calculator as long as the memory can be flushed before you take the exam.
A laptop or tablet capable of connecting to the internet as testing will take place electronically. We have a limited number of devices available if you do not have one.
