Please ignore the TEST FEE shown above. GARS, the Gwinnett Amateur Radio Society, will be paying your exam fee at our TechFest Exam Session for your first attempt. If you fail and want to try again, then regular exam fees apply. If you pass and want to try the next license exam at the same session, that is free. You will still be responsible to pay the FCC Application Fee (if applicable).
This exam session will begin at 9:00am in Forum Room #1, and we will stop accepting applicants at 11:00am. The actual exam session will end when the last applicant is completed. The exam will be given electronically via a tablet which we will provide. Personal devices cannot be used. We also provide calculators, scratch paper, and pens.
IMPORTANT ==> Please visit our exam web page http://gars.org/exams/ and thoroughly review all of our exam session requirements, useful information and tips. Please ignore the When and Where on http://gars.org/exams/ (as those shown on this web page are for our regular monthly exam sessions). Instead, please use the When and Where shown above.
If you have any questions, feel free to email us using this email form https://gars.org/gars/ve-team/.
We hope to see you at the GARS TechFest!
